Record-Breaking Success at the 3rd Annual Achieving the Dream by Hitting the Green Golf Tournament

On June 12, 2026, Matawa Education hosted the 3rd Annual Achieving the Dream by Hitting the Green Golf Tournament. Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, donors, golfers, volunteers, and community partners, we surpassed our fundraising goal and raised a remarkable $65,500 to support Matawa students.

The funds raised will provide scholarships, bursaries, awards, and educational opportunities for children and youth across Matawa First Nations, helping them pursue their educational journeys and achieve their dreams.

We extend our heartfelt miigwetch to everyone who contributed to making this event our most successful tournament yet. Your generosity is creating lasting opportunities and empowering the next generation of leaders.

We are so grateful to announce that we raised $56,925 for Achieving the Dream Through Education Charity.

This event could not have been made possible without our staff, students, volunteers, and sponsors. We thank you all for your continued support.

We would like to congratulate all of our 2024 ᒪᑕᐧᐊ Matawa First Nations High School Graduates.

This school year, we had 16 graduates, 4 more than the previous year. As we continue to support these students, we anticipate even more graduates next year!

Thank you to all of our donors, teachers, students, and staff for making this year memorable as it was our first graduation in our own gym. This event and celebration could not have happened without the continuous support of these students.
